Front brake caliper bolts national back order
Trying to source some front caliper bolts for my SS gm part # 11570788 tried a few gm parts local and online dealers including gmpartsdirect and apparently they are on national back order with no timelines. So my question is are there any good after market bolts I can use.
Thanks! |

Tried a Couple venders and they canceled my order due to lack of 4 in stock. Summit racing only has 2 in stock nation wide. Guess I’ll keep trying thanks.

As I am about ready to start a complete GEN5 Brembo brake overhaul I thought I had better get the bolts and crush washers ordered. Reading this thread I am a tad skeptical if I will have them as soon as I want.
With that said I found a Chevrolet dealership on the internet that "appears" to have the parts. I ordered the following (wanted enough for a complete backup set) 16 Crush washers #21012386 @ $0.45 each 8 Front caliper bolts # 11570788 @ $3.12 each 8 Rear caliper bolts # 11515781 @ $2.35 each Sub total $50.96 Shipping $11.95 Total for order $62.91 So far I have a confirmation number/receipt, will let everyone know if the order makes it or not. Go to Lowe's, Rural King or Tractor Supply and get some grade 8 bolts of the same length and thread size.

Order 2 complete sets of Gen5 Brembo mounting bolts (front & rear) along with 16 new crush washers. Order "on line sales" from Chevrolet dealership, they arrive today without a hitch. I am attaching a photo incase anyone else may want to order them on line, thought the price was actually pretty good.

Their not on backorder. I work at a GM dealer and checked, they weren't flagged. I could get 65+ next day.

One surprising outcome of my order was the cost. I usually purchase my parts from a local GMC dealership that the best price I can get is 30% over their cost, my local Chevrolet dealership will give you nothing but full cost which is usually doubled. When I found the "Internet sale site for Watson Chevrolet" out of Tucson, AZ I was pleasantly surprised to find their prices to be about 20-25% over cost. Over the past couple of years I have read on this Forum where other owners have paid considerably more for these bolts from their local dealers. Hope this post will help others.
