again some fail some don't some stock last forever and "upgrades" fail.

Yea, we did the CHE bushings on my build, run her up to 7200 all the time now... Dyno run was to 7500..

Yep, it's really weird. You will have guys that baby their cars, never hit redline or fuel cutoff, but have a failure at 20k miles. Then you have others who are always 'balls to the wall' with the gas pedal with over 120k miles and zero issues. Mine made it to 153k with no problems, before I swapped in the CHE's.

I have yet to read any reports or pictures of the brass bushings failing yet. Not that it doesn't happen, just haven't seen it. Hopefully it stays that way.

well, sorry for your bad luck. I also have been pondering bushings. the bronze bushings and stiffer push rods are going to be my upgrade for this winter. like you I don't take kindly to crap floating around in my engine. let us know what you decide

Also - Stiffer pushrods, Titaniuim retainers, BTR Platinum springs and CHE bushed trunions has totally removed my sewing maching sound from the drivetrain. New cam has "softer" lobes so that helped too...
