Night Owl system & footwell lighting

I was looking at the videos on the website and in the advanced configuration video, it talked about the PWM input signal and footwell lighting very briefly. Has anyone used this feature yet? How is it wired up? I take it, that it will allow me to have my footwell lights controlled by the dome light circuit, but also controlled by the Night Owl system if desired. Is this correct?

We will get some instructions made up, but here is the quick answer:

The SL Modules (as well as the HP Modules) have a screw terminal labeled PWM. You can hook this up to the dome circuit (gray wire under dash...see the DIY threads on floor lighting). You then hook up either single-colored LEDs or RGB LEDs to a port, or two ports (for independent control for special effects).

Using the iOS app, you go into module config for this module. For the output(s) that you connected the floorboard lights to, turn ON PWM-Dimming. Set a default color for your floorboard lights.

Now when the master module is unplugged, or the master is in default-color mode, the floorboard lights will come on with the dome light (opening the door, manually turning on the dome, etc.) and will come on with your chosen color. This color will dim up/down with the dome light.

You can run a program using the floorboard lights at any time, and they will ignore this PWM input. Put it back to default, or unplug the master, and they are back to the default behavior.
