My Camaro Rules....Wifey Does Not Likey

My rules have softened the longer I've owned my car. I'm still very careful, but I don't get over excited if she slams the door a little bit, or is wearing jeans. I've done more damage to my car than my wife likely ever will.

And we've been married almost 20 years. Now, if she had let me get an SS, I might've been willing to negotiate on the rules.

I & my wife both agree on those rules. We have the same rules in the 92 show truck. She loves and drives the truck. Hates the car sits to low so I lowered it more. No power set on passenger side very poor visabilty & the top one I drive to fast. Oh Well

To funny... yes I like my car... not there's not any of those crazy a ss rules. Like everyone else said, it's a car... a new car.. every single part can be bought and to you with in days. If the car was a classic or 150,000+ car it would be different.

I look at it like this. I have 73 payments left I would like to keep it nice for the majority of those. Ever make 50 payments on a car you hate? Me either, not going to start now. But it is just a car.

Sorry. That's ridiculous. I have the biggest, fuzziest dog and take him everywhere. Anyone can come in and eat or drink. Just no smoking. And my car is always meticulous because I'm not too lazy to get off my ass and clean it. It's just a camaro. It can be replaced, I bought it to use it

Gotta agree with this. I have plenty of rules for everyone else to obey. My wife can do whatever the hell she wants in the Camaro. If she messes something up i will fix it, or rip it out and make it into a full time drag car and replace it with an upgraded DD.

If she did mess something up it will be a complete accident and i know for a fact she will REALLY want to make it up to me for a long while.

I agree, and what I meant that it's not a concours bugatti...if you want to protect the car the most on the inside, get some SEAT DEFENDERS from amazon..simple rubber sheets that cover the seat - not seat covers - go on an off in 10 secs...but they don't move when you sit on them and are waterproof....

I have similar rules (OP's rules)for my Camaro & my husband is even more OCD about his. I think it is really nice that some of you guys say such sweet things about how much you care about & value your wife more than your Camaro & so no rules for her. We can get over the top when it comes to worrying about these beautiful cars. Still............................................. .......................................
