At least they didn't chop off the key on the switchblade...

It appears that all Camaro owners will have a choice. So, don't sweat it.

So let me get this straight, you can still keep your switch blade key? Interesting... I thought they would not chance it and revoke your keys and issue new key and separate control. But then again look how they handled the ignition switch recall for other vehicles. I am glad they decided to down play this. Never was an issue for me since I drive like a normal person with the seat moved back (not up against the steering column) and steering wheel up away from my knees. But just to play it safe I did remove all keys from and put onto separate key ring. Case closed!

Something tells me that there's way more to this than we're being told. Odd how just a single key is the solution to this ignition dilemma.

I don't understand how they let you keep the key in the fob, the recall seemed pretty straight forward that it is supposed to be removed from the fob.

What? You have a shitty dealership. Me less than 6hrs ago picking up my new Camaro:

Me: Can I decline the recall?
Dealer: yes. Sign here, here, here and here.

New key pic

Guess they are doing it different at different dealerships. These are not my keys. They are a friends who got her changed yesterday. Name: 20140708_062918.jpg
