I did subs first because I love my tunes when cruising. The subs made a mediocre sound system sound MUCH better. Also, I get to enjoy the sound system every minute I'm driving.

Now that you have that bad ass cam and cut outs....you'll never turn your radio on again

Plus once you hit the track you'll be chucking the sub box out to save some weight

Well...I already have a JL 10 and JL 12 in seperate boxes in the trunk being powered be a JL 250 watt amp. It puts out some great bass and yes, the added weight is worth the trade off. I am just tired of turning up the volume and not having it be crystal clear at the volume level that I like. I figure that getting a couple 6 1/2's for the doors and maybe some components for the rears with a 70x4 watt amp would really help.
Then again, I love the mpd1 spoiler and the street scenes spoiler...and either one of those painted would cost les than the sound system...
