What color to powdercoat the calipers?

I'm wanting to powder coat my calipers but have no clue as to what color. The car is Imperial Blue Metallic with Cyber Gray Rally stripes. I want the calipers to be noticeable but there is no color on the car but the blue and gray stripes and very little chrome. My wheels have a brushed finish on the centers. Anyone have a suggestion. Might have to give up on the pop and go for understated.

Red would be my first choice. Yellow may look cool too. IMO anything else is a waste if it won't stand out. You pay all the money for powdercoating... i would want to see it. Not everything needs to be matchy matchy. Red for years has been the industry standard on hi performance calipers regardless of the color of car. Look at the 1LE. My car is yellow and i had them done red. I could have done yellow, but i wanted them to pop.

A friend and his wife said yellow too. I guess it's time to fire up the photoshop program and try it out.

Thanks for the link. I never thought of google. The yellow does look pretty good. Better than I though it would.

On a darker car I think the red would be a little lost.

That was the first color that popped into my head for a blue car.

Well, keep the opinions coming, even though they all seem to be for red or mostly yellow. I found a pic in the IBM thread with yellow brakes and it does look real good. Better than I though it would, and to me, better than red. Now to convince the other/better half.

I need to look into the caliper covers. I've heard they cut down on the brake dust as a bonus. Is this true?
