Is my badge.... upside down?
I had a post earlier about how I replaced my RS grill on my 2014 1LE with the mesh z/28 style grill, but didn't know how to install a badge.
I recently had a shop install the badge from the previous grill on my new grill.. and I may be going crazy... but I feel like it's upside down. When I asked the shop, they mentioned that the badge is symmetrical on both sides so there is no way to have it upside down. But my eye thinks it is. What do you guys think? |

Something does look off about it. I bought a new OEM bowtie for the deck lid and it had an arrow showing which way is up, but both ways seemed to look the same to me.

It is. The bend/arch angle should be less at the top, than at the bottom.

On a flat surface there is no difference but on the front grill there is...it needs to be turned so it matches the body lines. Both sides are pointing down on your car.

I put on the same grille but left off the chevy emblem. There's definitely and UP side labelled on the back with it where it could be upside down. It's got more depth on the top than on the bottom so if it looks like it's upside down it would be sitting at an upward angle on your car.
