Hello! New member...

Greetings and salutations, allow me to introduce myself. I'm driving a black 2013 ZL1 M6 coupe. I joined the forum to learn more about the car and how to get the most out of it and maintain it properly. There seems to be a great deal of knowledge on this forum, regarding OEM and aftermarket for these cars. I am looking forward to learning everything I can here, "standing on the shoulders of giants". I plan to moderately modify it to the 700-750whp range. The car's main purpose is just to be a generally badazz street car which is a blast to drive and turns heads. Of course, it already is all of those things, but I need more!

Welcome! Great choice...you're going to love it (I still get a grin every time I punch it or approach 1g around the bends).

Welcome to the forum!

700whp is nicely achievable, look forward to seeing you build it. We'll be here to help.

Great year, great looking car. I share the same HP goals. Currently talking to several vendors on this forum. I am just on the fence regarding the cam-going that deep into it is a bit intimidating to me.

Headers HF cats or no cats/CAI/pulley/injector/tune should get you very close?

Welcome!

Headers, Intake, Aggressive Pulleys, and a Tune will not get you close. That's more like 600-630 RWHP. The LSA tops out at around 620 rwhp (Obviously all dynos read a bit different but its close enough) on the stock cam and you're going to need a cam to open them valves up more. Now you could go crazy with the supporting mods like Porting the blower/snout, 5" intake, 2.5" + 8.6"/9.1" pulleys, E85/Meth, and other stuff and that certainly will start to get you closer. But if you want to hit 700 RWHP or more, you'll need a cam and E85 or meth. Bolt ons/Cam/93 isn't enough to 700+ RWHP either. You need some kind of a booster to help the car out. Heads/Porting/E85/Meth etc.

Congrats on the car.

The car looks like my old car and I live in Tampa. What is the last 3 digits of the VIN? My car was 214.

Stock M6 can be up to 530 rwhp, mods I suggested can net 125, 655 rwhp is "close" IMO.
