Curb rash

I feel like a complete idiot and it made me sick to my stomach but usually when I go anywhere I make sure to stay away from curbs and parking lot stalls. Anytime I go to my banks ATM I usually pull far enough away where I can get out and use the atm and get back in. Well i was in a hurry so i pulled up next to it and what i thought was doing a good job of making sure where i was at, i was wrong and i heard the wheel scrape against the curb. It's not as bad as I thought but I know it's there and its bugging me. I plan on fixing it myself but I'm afraid of buying the wrong color of wheel paint. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Check out my DIY thread of curb rash repair of that exact wheel in the Wheel subforum. I am out right now and can’t provide the link. I have the paint color in the thread.

Back in the 50s and 60s they use to have "curb feelers" ,maybe they need to be revived, they looked like hell but served the purpose.lol. This would piss me off to.

UGH....that sucks. It's so easy to do on these cars, too. I wish you best of luck getting it fixed up. I need to learn this repair technique someday.

thank you guys so much. at the end of the day my thought process was, the damage is already done, it can't get any worse if I try making it look like new.
