Camaro SS vs SS1LE lap times
Hi fellow community.
I've been looking (unsuccessfully) for SS vs SS1LE lap time comparisons on google. Does anyone have any video or data comparisons? Thanks.

I haven't been able to find any either. I would imagine the 1LE is good for a few seconds faster given the tire compound, mechanical grip and braking. Oh, I'm sure the ELSD has a good bit to do as well. I hear it is phenomenal and i can't wait for mine lol

I remember reading it put about 3 seconds on the SS around Milford proving grounds

Still not a direct comparison, but there are a couple at the same track and one SS quicker than a 1LE... could be different conditions, mods, not sure.

Driver will make the biggest difference. An experienced driver in a regular SS will easily be quicker than a newb in a 1LE.

If you’re going to track it, get the 1LE for the extra cooling and the better ABS calibration alone. You can’t add the ABS calibration later, so purchase is the only time to get it. It makes a huge difference over the base SS in terms of “ice mode”.

I agree with your point, but there's no extra cooling on the SS 1LE (compared to the base SS).

If not, then all the other stuff is worth it; particularly the ediff, suspension, recaros, and brakes.
