They are black with red coils. I can arrange to have her's assembled in Indiana. I helped assemble the Z Spec Sonic at GM's tech Center last year. That was a hoot. I brought a couple of coilover kits we guessed might fit. One from column a, one from column b, create an ABS notch here, discard that plate there, cut a new bolt here and son of a gun we have a Sonic Xa Coilover kit made ith prode in Michigan.

GM made some changes to the Sonic front strut brackets for production which had me playing catch-up for some special builds today. Mrs. hrpiii would be very interested in the cargo area contents of my Enclave this evening...

The brass on the ground in charge of Indianapolis Pedderisation is Colonel Bruce Raymond.

Just a reminder for anybody who does not know, this Saturday 10/1 is the IND5thGen cruise to Brown County State Park!

We plan to start meeting at the Flying J Truck Stop on the SW side (I-465 & 37 Exit) at 10:30am - leaving by 11:00. We will cruise south to the Brown County State Park.

The State Park does have a $5 entrance fee per car. When we arrive we can head to the Abe Martin Lodge for lunch. They have a restaurant that serves lunch beginning at 11am (says they also have buffets on the weekend). We can then take some pictures & hang out in the park for awhile!

And here is a link to the route I have planned and tested (should be plenty of twists, turns, hills, and spirited Camaro fun):

Maybe you can join us this Sunday 10/9 at the LSX Shootout at Lucas Oil Raceway. Aside from racing there will be a big show with a special Camaro5 sponsored 5th Gen class I am working on details and will get them posted soon here & on Facebook!

NMCA Muscle Car Nationals / 5th Annual GM Performance Parts LSX Shootout 10/6-10/9

OK - As promised here is more info on the NMCA Muscle Car Nationals / 5th Annual GM Performance Parts LSX Shootout this weekend (Lucas Oil Raceway)!

Several of us plan to enter our cars into the Car Show on Sunday 10/9, as it features a special Camaro5 sponsored 5th Gen Class! Gates open and registration starts at 8am, awards are at 3:30.

Admission: I had to call 2 different people to get this clarified, so hopefully it makes sense! 1 Day Spectator Admission is $25 (kids 12 and under enter free). OR 1 Day Car Show Entry is $25 (which includes admission for the driver). So to sum it up, it does not really cost extra to enter your car in the show (but they don't want you leaving before it ends)!
