Get Your Frustrations Out
I don't know what it is about this past week but it honestly has been one big bitch fest. Now I know I'm going to get flamed by some of you guys (especially you all that have had their cars bayed, etc) but honestly, Chevy has priorities, priorities that overshadow the comparatively measly down payments we put on the cars. Constantly bitching about not having your car isn't going to get you anywhere, if anything it will just make you more upset. A few months from now, everyone that preordered is going to look back and say "Wow, I really made a big deal out of nothing...I think I'm gonna go drive my baby now!" I mean come on guys, you're going to be waiting a few weeks, maybe a couple months at the most. If you're one of those "I'm cancelling my order because GM sucks at..." then please, either follow through and cancel so someone more patient can get your Camaro or just stop complaining. We've all been waiting for this car for years, surely a few weeks more won't kill you. Edit: mods if this is in the wrong place, just move it.

You are probably right, but sometimes you just need to vent your frustrations.

I'm not even close. No point in bitching about how long it's taking.
My gripes are about the lack of information we're seeing from the GM folks. Not only do they remove all camaros from the car locator on chevrolet.com but they also are refusing to provide dealers with more information than what's already on their computer. Makes no sense. |

And some type of flimsy but believeable excuse why orders already sold to customers are not getting built first.

So, why are you upset about the bitching, Mr. Mustang? And no it doesn't make it worse, if anything stating your feelings, venting, relieves the frustration. Granted, it doesn't help get the car any sooner, but, like w00t said, if we'd get a little more upfront info from GM, not only would we be more informed, greatly reducing the speculation, but we'd feel a lot more like they actually cared about us committed first buyers. They're even going to lengths now to hide info from us. That's just not the right approach.

For example, ABL. How much bitching was there while we didn't know what the deal was? It ended up being a negative answer but the bitching stopped almost instantly. People got over it. Even if it's not what we want to hear, just tell us the truth, the WHOLE truth not some BS political answer that can be interpreted 1,001 different ways. |

Sorry if I offended you earlier, SIK07GTSTANG. You're not such a bad guy after all. I, like many others, am just feeling pretty unloved right now.
