This time they found 452 RWHP vs. a 420 RWHP from a earlier dyno run.

The SS needs something now to stay competitive, its slower than both the 392 AND 5.0 now.

Those numbers are not true!!! There is no way the Dodge is rated at 470 and it pulls 452!!! That is a joke. Everyone needs to look at the price tag. That will change your mind in a hurry. At least 10,000 more with the gas gussler tax. The car is beautiful but $10,000????? "Come on Man"

Only 1100 made(I know some reports have said 1392 made, but the email invitation Dodge sent me to try to get me to buy one said 1100). The base model is pretty much optioned out with only about 3k left in options available. They'll sell every one of them. Worth it if you can afford it in my opinion.

The 392 is a limited production vehicle, more like what the Z-28 will be. I wouldn't worry though, I got a feeling MY2012 will be BIG for the Camaro.

452RWHP? With a 470 rating, that's about a 4% loss. Is this engine under rated that much? Figuring a 15% loss, and that's low for an auto, the real figure would be more like 550hp. WTF?!!!

You simply cannot compare a 1SS to a SRT8 period. A base SRT8 has more features than the Camaro is even available with.
It is easily worth the price of admission. Why wouldn't it be underrated? The R/T is, it's been shown it is producing closer to 400 HP instead of the factory rated 37x

I like the challenger and I like that it's faster and will put more power down compared to the competition (except gt500) but inside lines dyno is a lil happy. I remember it being too high for both the mustang gt and gt500. Trap speeds will tell us the complete story though. Gotta admit though, that overlay of ls3 Vs 392 dyno sheet makes the ls3 look sad throughout the whole rev range and it's only 0.2 liters larger!

Something is not right here. Through an automatic this thing would have to be making around 550+ fwhp to put down those kind of numbers. That is more than a Z06 puts out through a manual, even though the LS7 has 36 more cubic inches and a 7k redline. This car should be trapping 116+ if those numbers are true.

to Inside line for taking a dyno graph they did a year ago and laying them on top of each other.

I think the autos and manuals will put down similar numbers like the prior srt8's. With that being said the numbers look like "Texas dyno" type numbers. Seems like a good engine to put in some kind of base model viper if they ever go that route!

The 392 will be in every srt8 they build, the package with the blue and white stripes and interior bits will be limited. The limited part is only cosmetic.

This. The 6.4 is going in ALL SRT8's, The 'limited' is only the color combo and seats...
