Austin Body Shops???
Hey everyone, can anyone provide some recommendations on good body shops in the Austin/Buda area? Yeah it happened... a stupid driver hit me in a parking lot yesterday and drove off.

Yeah...I'd think the dealer would be the best place to go. At least there you could take it back if anything doesn't turn out right...local guys may not be so fast to warranty their work!

I was going to take it to my Dealership body shop, but they are not on the approved list for my insurance company. It made me second guess their work. I can still take it to them without a problem, but I didn’t know if there were any other body shops I should check out first.

Insurance and Body Shops
Your insurance's "approved" list sometime has to do more with agreements and money rather than quality of work. Check out http://www.austin-bodyshops.com to compare most reputable austin body shops and look at reviews and ratings.

I always use the Pavilion Lincoln-Mercury body shop (North 183). They do great work. I started going there after a bunch of the old Austin F-Body guys recommended them...

Roger Beasley Collision on Metric, they handle quite a few high-end exotics. Talk to Scott Brightwell, tell him his neighbor sent you. My car was in a rear-end collision, looked brand new when they finished.

Well it too happened to me. Severely rear ended while stopped at a red light. She must of hit me going 30-40mph! Drove part of my exhaust into the back seat!! I'm sure Allstate will say it all can be repaired... I'll check out RBC as a start. Thanks,
