Custom exhaust
Is it possible to do a muffler delete but keep the NPP functionality?

So you can’t just cut off the valves and weld them onto a separate pipe? Isn’t it just a butterfly valve?

I'm confused on what you would accomplish. Sure you can do a muffler deplete but then you would be running a straight through exhaust NPP valves or not. Do you want to channel the unmuffled exhaust through just the inside exhaust tip when the flap is closed on the outside tip? Just not sure what that accomplishes. Maybe I am missing something.

I wanted it to be louder but still keep the NPP function and not pay 1500+ for a axel back with NPP. I’d like the have the NPP to close the valve if I’m leaving at 4am in the morning and not wake every neighbor in my development lol. Upon looking at the actual insides of the muffler I see that the exhaust goes through perforated holes when closed. Maybe I should just keep the suitcase unaltered and buy an axel back. Just trying to cheap out a little bit lol

So you want to delete the mufflers and then bypass the deleted muffler?

Yea I guess I don’t full understand NPP functionality. I haven’t really done any mods on vehicles before haha. I just assumed if you closed the valve it would be quieter on startup.

So I talked with a custom exhaust shop and they said what I described was possible. I will show the results once the work is completed lol. Let’s see how this goes
