The M3 isn't what it used to be, and the price has gotten ridiculous.
Go with the CTS-V, if price is of no concern. |

I am doing the lease loan work for the 2014 M5 as we speak, but not sure I want to spend this much I was getting a 2012 CTS-V from Carmax with 12k miles, but the CarFax said it was in an accident I test drove the ATS, if its not a premium with the MRC shocks it rides worse than my SS. I just can't get the looks of the CTS to grown on me. Every Caddy dealer I go to agree the looks are kinda off(rear) and the price is kinda high(Vsport). The new M3 is starting to look better and better. The 2015 300 SRT8 is suppose to get some updates, but I have not seen anything yet. I still have no clue what I want to get |

Ain't that the truth! I have seen two on the street, and where I live you always see new cars. I built a CTS V Sport it was 80K, at that point I would rather have the M5. I don't think the ATS and CTS have been a major success. The sales might be ok, but dealers are not in love with them. They complain that the ATS is to small, the CTS is to big and bumps up right against the XTS price wise.

We were also thinking about replacing my wife's Denali. That being said pricing has yet to be released on the new GM SUVs. We want a Escalade, but the current Platinum Escalade is 80 something so what is the new one going to be 100K? I use to love GM because you got soo much bang for the buck(CTS-V, Z06, ZL1 etc. Now only Ford and Mopar still play in that arena. GM thinks they are Mercedes, BMW or Audi. |

I had no idea CTSVs, let alone ATSVs were anywhere near that.

No telling what the new M3 will go for. Some are saying starting at $65k for the M3 sedan and $70k for the M4 coupe. Went to the dealership to look at a 435. They start at $46k with cloth interior. The leather in my SS looks better than the leather in the 4-Series until you pay for the upgraded leather package. Then pay for the HID light package, and not even mention M-Sport. By time I was done it was $68k! Bottom line...everything is overpriced! BMW and Porsche will a la carte your ass to death
