2010 camaro HID headlight replacement

For the ones that had to replace your headlight assembly due to the bad design of the factory system

What did you go with on the replacement?

What did you go with that you were happy with the end result

I have thought about just going with an after market set to jeep it easy on the installation

Or is it worth it to do a retrofit projector setup, if you went with the projector conversion what setup did you use

TheRetrofitSource is a good retrofit company. They have a forum they are, associated with I guess (HID Planet), that offers a lot of assistance for retrofitting. I did a retrofit years ago with their products and they were pretty helpful with answering questions and I was able to get everything I needed through them.

Didn’t see any selection for HID headlights, only Halogen

It’s been done with HID. Research it on the forum and you will eventually find it.

I was also searching for a complete replacement not just the bulb, came across this company where from what I’m seeing on their website is a complete unit swap, these are 6 Gen looking that fit on the 5th Gen might be worth considering if you don’t mind losing the ‘halo rings’ since I haven’t found a better built halo style I would consider this 6 gen style.
