My 22836727/22836734 Z/28 Mounts came in today, i'll probably wait until I figure out what shocks I am going to go with, I am not in a rush but at least I have them.

Do you have pics? What springs did you pair the B6's with?

Is the back higher than the front? I have the z28 mounts with 1LE suspension and hotchki springs and the back seems as though it is higher than before.

Want an even drop.

Rich I have the Hotckis springs as well and I have the Z/28 Mounts on the shelf and going to install when I decide to do the shocks. What shocks are you running? Does it look higher since shock change?

Yours Definitely sits higher in the rear then mine Front is about the same, So When did this happen after Z/28 mount install? Did the rear ever sit lower?

Rich2324 Was the rear of your car that high before the Z/28 Shock mounts? Did you run the 1" Drop with and with out? I don't want mine to raise when I do the struts/Shocks and Mount.

Do the B6 Combo change ride height at all? I would not thinks so as that is usually the springs job.

I forget, but seems higher after the mounts.

So, I believe they are meatier than SS mounts and perhaps that is accounting for the slight difference.?

Now, I want coilovers anyway. Just added the Hendrix cradle bushings last week. I think maybe Peddars or similar. No BC.

Car should be close to how I want it.

Did ctsv calipers, cam, heads, clutch. Finish off suspension to round things out.

Those Brakes look huge, I have been reading about the swap. I did get the Goodrich lines that will fit the ZL1 Calipers so far.The Cradle bushings were a nice addition and were easy to install with the correct tools.

I'm deciding which coilover to go with right now and I'm currently leaning towards peddars but I'm curious why your saying no to BC? their reviews are good.
also why did u choose the z28 mounts instead of using an aftermarket like bmr?
ps; ur car looks great!

I've read mixed info on the B6's raising the rear of the car a 1/2" on a SS. Does anyone know if this is really true?

morepowerjoe, That is what I am trying to figure out, I was not sure if it was teh SS or the 1LE that had the issue, I don't want to raise the car any, and I also have Z28 Shock mount which I heard may or may not raise the rear.

Hey Joe, I just installed the rear B6's with eibach springs https://www.carid.com/eibach/1-x-1-p...29&url=2405842
It's supposed to only drop it .3 of an inch but it dropped it 7/8". I think that the factory rear springs were a little more compressed then the eibach's were. So the deal is that they don't raise your ride height if anything they lower it somewhere in the 1/2" range. My ride height in the rear to the fender was 30 1/2" and now it's 29 7/8". I haven't installed the fronts yet because I'm still waiting for the struts to come in but for the front I just got the ac delco factory replacements because of how long they said the B6's would take to come in. Something like 10 weeks

oh and I used stock shock mounts.
