Header ground clearance
I am looking for some measurements for ground clearance. I have a difficult driveway and want to install headers and need to make sure I am going to clear.
I used a cheap retractable box cutter to measure the clearance. You can expand the box cutter to measure the clearance between the cat and ground, and the ground and the lowest part of the frame. Pull the box cutter out and measure it with a tape measure. So I am looking for 2 measurements and what type of headers you have with cats or not. 1 Catylitic converter to ground 2 Lowest point of frame by converter to ground For example, I measured 4 3/8” frame to ground and 4 1/8” . So the stock cat is 1/4” lower then the lowest frame point by the converter. |

Catalytic converter? What's that?
At the very very back of the front subframe where it mounts to the body the headers dip 3/8" below the subframe. Then the collectors merge to the 3" pipe and it's back up above the frame.

Thanks! I would like to get multiple brands measurements, your car does not need to be lowered if you can take both measurements.
