You just missed my deal. I had a full set of them with only 200 miles on them for $500. They sold fast.

I currently have the Goodrich Comp 2's (285 front, 305 rear), and am actually getting rid of them today. They are ok, but nothing to write home about IMO. I have a set of Conti Extreme Contact Sports that are going on at noon. I am a contractor here in Vegas, and one of my clients is Discount Tire, so I get to spend a bit of time talking with their facilities manager (who used to be a store manager, and is big gearhead as well, but unfortunately loves the blue oval stuff). From all of the input I got from him, and learning about the manufacturers, and rubber that each of them use, he turned me on to the Contis, and said you can't beat them for the price and for the materials they use. The difference I suppose is that I really don't deal with freezing temps that often or snow. Food for thought.

Why are your quotes so high?
I've always put Toyo Proxes ST III on mine. I'm in Los Angeles, CA and pay 640 total which includes balancing and alignment.

Did you look at Michelin Pilot Sport 4S by chance. I had good luck with them and I am just north of you...

I've had 2 sets of BFG Comp T/As. Not bad, but they got noisy after a while and they weren't as sticky as I had hoped. I am currently on General GMAX RS. They were actually less expensive, and they hold the road great and no noise.

Yes excellent tire
And I believe the general g max are made by continental

Nitto

at 20k i put some Nitto NT05's on. Holy crapoly. Super sticky, well worth the money. Im in South Dakota, dont drive it in winter.

Been running used P zeros since. The Nittos lasted about 10k miles, but so did the first set of P Zeros.

I drive kinda hard, but no burnouts.

If i have to order tires again they will be NT05's again.

Definetly never putting all seasons on.....EVER!!

Put some more miles on the new Continentals today and did some full throttle 1-2 pulls. It's crazy how these AS tires are so much stickier than the P-Zero's they replaced. No wheelspin at all whereas the Pirellis wouldn't have a hope of taking full throttle in 1st and sometimes not even in 2nd. With the old tires you were all over the road but with these all the power gets to the ground and I'm locking up the seatbelts every time.
