What did I did?
Over the last few daze, I've:
Waited for the weather to clear up, which didn't happen, but I installed the Hurst short-throw shifter. (05/28-29) 05/30: Drove it (dirty) to the 11th annual Rat Fink Reunion in Manti, Ut. I've been at all of 'em except the first one (I was in the hospital after my 2nd heart attack). Spent the rest of that day doing the sponge bath thing with water/soap in a wastebasket I borrowed from the motel. Started working on a sunburn. Photographed the rest of the goings on, met a lotta old friends. 05/31: Had a "sub-tle" (that was the descriptive phrase the job got) pinstripe job done by Greg "Coop" Cooper (great guy, mentored by Ed Roth) in vermillion (red-orange) and black. Continued with photos, shot some stuff for Eilene Roth (Ed's widow). Worked on my sunburn. 06/01: Showed the car at "Rat Fink's Car Show"; spent several hours waxing it with Lyzard wax from Willy's Garage. Great stuff. Photographed the show, but gave up after the place was overrun by untamed house apes (bad mannered kids and their airhead parents) and the sunburn finally got to the place where I qualify as a certified redneck. Arranged to get some photos to Frank Magoo in Las Vegas for a magazine article. He brought his 2005 GTO and then had a rear inner fender and tire disagree violently...he's gonna have to trailer the GTO home, then come back for the show car he and another guy brought. Drove home and tried to catch up on sleep.

Starred at it from my front porch as it sits broken down in my driveway. Should be putting the new oil cooler, clutch, and exhaust cutouts in next weekend. Now that I have written it all down, maybe I need to break something more often.

Put the wife to work and installed Hash Marks and side gills...Can't tell from the pictures but she lined them perfect!!
Love them, she did a Great Job

Washed it twice, then while drying it, a bird shit on the windshield foh. After a 2 minutes of cursing I cruised for 200 miles.
