Gents: I understand this is day one for 2024 allocations. If I'm not mistaken, one of the GM salespersons on this forum should please correct me.
So, I placed my order on 6/15. It was "accepted" according to the dealership's General Sales Manager exactly one week later.
Hoping I get a foot in the door as I'm first up for a 2024 Camaro 2SS.

Today is going to be like Christmas morning for a bunch of us - just hoping to not get socks!

At this point I have everything crossed - I have orders placed at 6 different dealerships in GA and NC for a ZLE!!!

Good luck to everyone! I have orders placed at 4 key dealers here in MN that I think I have good odds at. I am just looking for a ZL1 without the 1LE package, so I think my chances are pretty good! Can't wait to see what everyone has to say about their journeys.



When does the official 2024 waiting room start

Last week was the first and it was only for ZL1 Collector Editions. My guess is that they allocated all 350 out last week.

Makes sense. Fingers crossed I get an allocation myself in the first couple weeks.

This came out earlier this week - sounds like there is going to be a one-time order process for ZL1 CE once allocations are determined.

As GM Authority was the first to report, 300 units of the 2024 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Collector’s Edition will be reserved for the U.S. market. A total of just 350 units will be produced, all of which will be built at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan. Production of the 2024 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Collector’s Edition will take place over the course of two separate runs at the GM Lansing Grand River facility."

I bet the execs at GM are laughing at all of us car guys with how they’ve handled things post Covid when it comes to the Camaro.They did everything to **** us but we still wanted a V8 in our garage. Pretty sad how we’re slowly being trained to just have low expectations. I hope everyone that wants a V8 Camaro gets one cuz this ICE exit by GM is embarrassing with their price hikes and allocation lottery.

I ended up getting an allocation today for a 2ss convertible. They had allocations for 3 convertibles, 1 coupe and no ZL1s.
