It's tabbed in from the back side and may be difficult to move without pulling the fascia but I would guess some have done it. Hopefully those that have will chime in. If not, you may have to remove the fascia to get to the back of the grill.

Checkout member monstertodd's thread about removing
the bowtie. See post 38 in that thread. Sorry I would post link,
but I am on my iPod touch and have not learned how to yet.

I wish I would have seen this 6 months ago ! I was screamin & yankin & cussin & my fingers felt like they were coming off !
But I got it off without breaking anything, not that I didn't want to take a hammer to it right after....but it's stored in my garage. I stuck my Billet grill on, got it lined up, & tightened it up.....Then I noticed I forgot to take the RS badge off....so it's still behind it, screw it !

Thankyou! Great Info.

Can't wait for the Billet aluminum $160 front "SS" emblem.

Just ordered SLP front and rear "SS" emblems and front landing pad for "SS" emblem and rear gloss black facia for under the rear "SS" emblem. Free shipping for orders over $100. Total with handling $117. Now it will look the way it should have from the factory IMO.

Thanks again !
