I finally got around to installing mine and man what a difference!! We have a very long driveway here at work and I could spin the GY's easily but these MPSS's actually bit and pinned me to the seat. I wasn't expecting them to bite so it was a pleasant surprise!

They are a great tire. Hopefully they will have the rears early 2014 for our cars. (And you don't have to worry about the weather, temps....etc with them). Handling is great as well.

What tires are you waiting for? A specific size?

If you want pilot super sports for the zl1 I have 315s in back and 295s up front. Quiet, no rubbing, stick great and you can drive below 40.

Does the 315 sticks out the fender?
More than the 305GY I mean

I run 20x11 wheels in the back with the 315 super sports, they are flush with the fender but dont stick out past it

I see what your saying but I ran the 315's and they fit great. Bigger is better.

The Michelin pilot super sport actually has the widest tread width out of any other tire that I had looked at

SVEN --If you want pilot super sports for the zl1 I have 315s in back and 295s up fro

What temperatures have you driven in? I'm looking for something that will allow me to drive on Cold days in Kansas City area which is quite cold at times. I'm looking at the MSS's 295 front and 315 rear. I am only a highway driver and have 32,000 on my #192 ZL1, but I do like to hit it a little on the Interstates (nice open areas). Does it stick good in cold weather in the 20's? I have GY's it is hard get a set than can be balanced w/o vibration.

I sent an email to a guy (Damon) I've used over the years at TireRack... he is suspecting 1st QTR 2014 for the OEM rear size, and I can hold and wait for that.

I had the MPSS's on by GT3RS, and never a worry about temps or weather. (Pretty darn good on wet roads actually). Quite a tire.

Anybody running 315s in back and 295s up front on the stock SS rims. If so are there any clearance issues?
