Ok. So the ones that painted theirs with a can did it turn out textured looking or smooth like the cars body?

Probably depends on the prep. I painted without sanding so it's glossy but textured.

18 1/2 inches front to back at longest point. (17 1/2" at shortest.)

23 inches wide.

4 inches tall at center (Highest point).

Measurements are just the cover itself, off the car. Does not include the two hook tabs that extend off the rear edge. (The ones you slide into place first, when installing the cover.)

EDIT: Prior to painting color blue, I used two light coats of plastic primer adhesion promoter.

Ok. Did you have to buff after clearing or did it come out clear and shinny?

I didn't. It came out clear and shiny for me. Just do a bunch of light coats otherwise you will get some texture.. mine is blue/black one up above

Painted mine today and looked real good till I cleared them and they turned hazy looking. I sprayed 4 light coats but still turned out that way. I wish I would have left them like they were before clear coating them. Here is what they looked like before clear coat!

Let it all harden for a week now.
Then lightly sand with 2000 grade.
Let it set. Use a sticky cloth to clear off the Dust.
Re Clear Coat once.
Leave to set for 48 hours.
Polish.
