!help! trying to pick my exhaust/intake - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

im looking to rip out the stock system and replace all of it. from intake to headers to the tail what do you recommend? arh? loundmouth? slp? etc.
besides cai and headers to tips what else should i do? dyno? reprogram? i also have no rules on emmisions so id rather no cats and straight pipes. loud and powerfull.

I'm running Kooks without cats and the Borla catback. I love it, but if your worried about drone this isn't the way you want to go. I'm considering putting on the Borla touring mufflers to tone it down a little.

Halltech (just ordered)

Exhaust:
Doug Thorley shorties (in a sniffer test city)
Pypes cat-back (on-order)

You have no rules about emissions but you got shorties?! Oh, I'm guessing the 'sniffer test city' means they are checking emissions then?

edit: nvm, saw that was two different posters... guess wbt was just in here posting what they bought~

Check out the California Meets section. We have a meet on the 27th of this month in Temecula. In Travis county they require emissions testing so looks like I am stuck buying shorties unless I can get confirmation that long tubes with cats can get by.

lf u got gone to do it right u must go with the {ARH,AIR-RAID AND 160-STAT} AND A TUNE. belive me u will be FLYING and u WILL BE HAPPY U DID!

I would go with the SLP kit. It comes with everything you need. Long Tube headers, high flow cats, and x-pipe.

i got kooks 1 3/4" lth with a hennessy cai and corsa exhaust heres the site on youtube to check it out if u like

. i do however still gotta get it tuned now it does have the high flow cats. i got them with the headers.
