2013 1LE 2SS RS For sale

2013 Camaro 2SS, 1LE RS. $18,000 Only reason I'm selling this one is because I can't keep up with the newer ones on the road course. Now I want one of those.

I'm pretty sure this car comes with every option available from the factory at the time. No sunroof, but everything else. Heads up display, LED lights in the doors, backup camera, backup sensors, power everything, leather seats, 20" wheels, Goodyear tires specifically designed for this car, etc. If you're not sure what the 1LE track package is, google it and read up on it.

I'm the 2nd owner, clean title, clean history, non-smoker. Interior typical or above average for age and miles. Exterior typical for age and miles other than a few minor dings, some minor paint swirls, scratches...black shows everything. The sticky tires sling a little more than normal debris. Will provide many service records and upgrade details for serious buyers.

Maintenance and upgrade history:

I treat the 1LE like a professional athlete. Only the highest quality fluids, parts and specialists. For example, more frequent than normal oil, differential fluid, transmission fluid and brake fluid changes. Only the best and most highly recommended fluids.

I bought it from the original owner, who is a Veterinarian in California. He commuted back to work and put 88k miles on it in about 4 years and serviced it at the dealer and local reputable shops. I've put around 9k miles on it in about 2.5 years.

I’ve kept the drivetrain stock. With fresh racing fluids and alignment, it’s prepared for any kind of performance driving you have in mind. This is a great car if you want to do High Performance Drivers Education (HPDE) track days at road courses like VIR, Road Atlanta, Summit Point, Watkins Glen, Homestead, COTA, the list goes on and on..

I've replaced most of the OEM suspension bushings with BMR bushings. Rear outer trailing arms with spherical bearings and poly bushings, front sway bar end links, 1.25 inch lowering springs with Koni Yellow adjustable shocks, rear adjustable toe rods, poly bushings and maybe a couple more bushings to improve handling even more. I can send in car videos of laps at VIR.

Cooling and other stuff...this 426 HP LS3 makes a lot of heat. I added a Mishimoto oil cooler with braided lines along with a B&M transmission cooler. I also added front brake ducts, a Moroso oil catch can, separate clutch fluid reservoir (so the brakes and clutch no longer share a reservoir for the same fluid) , speed bleeder for the clutch fluid, that's all I can think of...there's probably more. No need to spend additional money on this car unless you just want to.

I had the front seats re-covered kind of like the Recaro suede seats in the Gen 6 Camaros. In the 3.26 mile, 17 turn laps at VIR I was sliding around in the leather seats too much. Now it's a lot easier to hang on.

I've replaced the Camaro emblems on the front fenders with smaller, black retro Camaro emblems. Also tinted the windows. I have an extra set of tires and oem wheels but those can be sold separate ONLY after the car is gone.

Most recently I've had the clutch, flywheel and related parts replaced with OEM LS7 parts and upgraded a few things to avoid trouble later.

I have done my best to use this car at track events at Virginia International Raceway (VIR) as much as I could. It performs great and I squeeze everything I can out of it. If you're looking for a garage queen, driven to and from church on Sunday without a scratch on it, this is not it. This one is in average or above average condition for the age and mileage and the maintenance has certainly been over-killed. If you're looking for a reliable track car you can grow into and comfortably get to an intermediate level or if you're already intermediate or advance and you want to go have fun doing HPDE track days, come have a look.

Buy this one and you wont have to wonder about it's history. It's well taken care of but has been used for it's purpose. I'd love to see it go to someone who will take care of it and carry on doing some hot laps.
Happy to help you arrange for pre-purchase inspection, you're welcome to talk to shops I've had do work on it. I can help with delivery within a reasonable range or I can help arrange shipping if needed.

Not interested in trades. When it sells, I'll find a newer Gen 6 1LE. If it doesn't, I'll keep it and we'll sweat it out at VIR hopefully a few times between now and November before it gets too cold.
