reading a data log on an Intune

Anyone have any experience here? Just threw the LTs on and did some data logging, just trying to evaluate what needs changed, and yes i will have it professionally done, just curious how far out of line it is, since this graphs in % i am a bit lost. fuel trims seem to run even on the long term, short terms are kind of all over the place.....just dont wanna be too lean til i can get it tuned.
thanks
Joel

Hello Joel, FYI I support Diablo Products with custom tuning.

Headers will not lean out your AFR but a Cold Air kit can, depending on Brand.

CAI, Halltech, Rotofab, are all good choices that will only affect the AFR a couple percent at most, others can be 10-20%

You want to look at LTFT after driving a bit 20 + miles

Ted.

download this software it looks at the logs for you and tells you what to adjust

Don't do this, it tells you to scale the injectors and that is not the correct way to tune these cars unless you change the injectors.

explain how this is not the correct way? ted.

i have seen other vehicle platforms change the amount of fuel spray.

please elaborate. i was considering doing this also by using the dslogredux.

Simple Logic, If you sprain your ankle you don't put a splint on your wrist.

The MAF is the First line of air flow measurement, if you install an off brand Cold air kit it Causes MAF Reporting Errors, which leads to AFR Errors, Timing errors, and Torque calculation Errors.

The Computer uses the MAF to Calculate Fuel Quantity and timing selection and Torque calculations.

So Why would you change Injector Flow data to correct for MAF reporting Errors when you never changed your injectors???

Proper tuning Requires Correcting Errors not covering them up.

The only time you should change injector data is if you change injectors.

Ted.
