HELP. 2015 Camaro RS next mod ....
Hey camaro5! I'm still fairly new here, I decided to order an eibach lowering kit for my car. It's 1.5 inches all the way around. I'll post pics on how that looks in a few days.
Next question is. Next mod. I have about $730 to spend. I found a nice ZL1 hood for 350$ on CarId.com. Or should I do exhaust? What's the best deepest sounding exhaust for a 2015 camaro v6? Or name anything else that's worth buying. I kind of wanna spend my money on appearance first before performance. But an exhaust is pretty much a yes.

ZL1 hood for $350? Probably Duraflex low quality product.
I suggest you to do exhaust, a muffler delete+magnaflow resoanted x pipe+solo j pipes is the best exhaust combo for sound quality, no drone and cheapest!! It will cost you around $500 or maybe less depending on labor. You will get no drone thanks to the j pipes, no raspy but deep tone thanks for the magnaflow res x pipe, and loud thanks to the muffler delete. Or, for $730, you can also get an ACS splitter and a side skirts. You can also add a Z28 spoiler, since appearance is what you concern the most, is only $100 for a very good quality replica, and paint match. Last edited by hzisfrom1994; 09-01-2015 at 09:14 AM. |

Exhaust IMO. I always do performance before cosmetic though.

MRT makes some really nice axle backs for your V6 and they sound good. A cheaper option is a muffler delete with the Magnaflow resonated X-pipe. In THIS thread there are quite a few sound clips to get you an idea. Please feel free to call, PM or email us with any questions you may have.

The dura flex is cheap quality? And do you have a link to the exhaust?

Get an SLP Loudmouth II Exhaust for $500 and a K&N Typhoon Series 69 Cold Air Intake for $296. Sure it's a little over budget, but well worth it.

I agree with Alex. Search CarID for ideas and options and do your shopping on other websites.
Get a intake if you want a little bit of gains. The K&N makes a little whistle sound due to the intake sucking in more air, of course. I had the K&N Typhoon 69 series when I had my v6, some people don't like it but IMO I like it.
