Huron single turbo exhaust note

So is it just me or do these cars sound like ass with both cylinder banks merging into one down pipe?
My car has straight pipes with a muffler delete. At WOT it sounds nice but at part throttle while cruising it's got this funky crackle and I think it sounds like crap. Would mufflers get rid of that or is it just how these turbo kits sound?

if its a idle sounds you dont like, it could have to do with how the tuner set the rpm idle speed that can be played with. Aside from that IMO V8's with turbo need to be ran with short downpipes. Turbo in itself already turns down the volume like 3 clicks. When i rev my car it sounds like gunshots and turbo swirling, but my downpipe is like 1.5-2 ft long lol

No the idle is fine and sounds nice. It's the low rpm part throttle sound that I dont like. It's got a weird cackling sound. I'm wondering if it's from not having mufflers?

Probably always gonna sound like that. When you think about what happens inside the turbine it makes sense.

So I added a magna flow resonator that's dual inlet and dual outlet x pipe type. The crackle is gone and sounds alot tamer which my neighbors will like. I'm pleased with the sound overall.

It's got a nice idle and still very steetable. I did the cam and turbo at the same time. I'm going back to the tuner next week. I only had a 5lb spring in the WG and lost the other springs. I got more springs from Jon at Huron. It's making close to 10lbs now and the power is noticeably higher.

Not directly behind the car, but sounds pretty good. Obviously way better in person.

Sounds great! I added a magna flow x pipe resonator and I'm happy with the exhaust note now. I'll upload a clip tomorrow.
