My wife drives "her car" all the time. I actually preferer driving the Sedan SS, it's much easier for me to get in and out of.

All the time, everyone wants to race her until they hear it idling at a stop light or she down shifts on the highway when they pull up next her.

I taught my wife how to drive a manual in mine. Told her she "needed to know in case of an emergency."
She did pretty damn well, too.

So we all have a lot of trust in our wives. We all know the car can get away from us quickly.

The big thing is just making sure they know before they get behind the wheel and what to do when it does.

Mine always complains about having to get in and out of it and it's not comfortable but that face she makes when she is driving it tells me a different story.

Unless she is paying for it, I would not let anyone drive one of my ace cars. This wouldn't be a reflection of her driving skills, but I find that most people do not have the appreciation of the car as I would. Otherwise, expect to deal with things such as door dings, curb rash, warped body panels etc. during prolonged use.

My wife drives my car well. But says she doesn't like the manual transmission and says it sits too low and she can't see well enough. She's only put about 300 of the 246,700 miles on it. The one time she drove it aggressively (because she was pissed that I had her drive home because I drank too much) was the most fun. She can tear-up the roads when she wants to.

My wife enjoys driving mine, though doesn't drive it much because she doesn't want to be the one driving if someone hits it. Lol!

She does a great job with it. She's great with sticks, all jokes aside. Years ago, I took her out and beat on it to show her what it was capable of, and how quickly it can bite you in 1st or 2nd. Then put her on the interstate in 3rd and had her roll into it. Then we did it in 2nd. We didn't do 1st. She drives it like a little old lady anyway. I just told her to always make sure it was going in a straight line before you punch it. That's my general rule in this car on public roads for myself, too.

You guys are lucky, everyone in my family hates my car. If its not ohhh your car will never beat a tesla. American cars are junk. That car can only go fast straight. I park all my stuff inside the garage and nobody touches the fast cars but me. They drive a bunch of old mercedes they swear are made for kings…. Then when it misfires i get a nice text as to wtf is going on lololol

Look at the smile on her face, she loves it. I'd let her drive it as much as she wants. lol

She loves it a little too much. I keep finding my key in her purse. We took the dog for a walk today and there was a Saturn sky convertible i told her i would buy her one of those, so she will stay away from the zl1. She laughed and said that won’t do.
