I am doing the 2009 Hot Rod Power Tour. I did the tour in 2007 in my 1991 1LE Camaro. It rained like a mother! No air or radio in the 1LE but still an awsome time! Where else can you drive all day long and end the day in a bar and drink with car guys from all over the country? If you have not done the tour do it this year!!! I am taking my 2000 Nassau Blue Corvette FRC "Fixed Roof Coupe" this year. I just installed a Hurst shifter, Kook's long tube headers, Random Tech high flow cats, Corsa Exhaust, Donaldson Blackwing intake, Z06 Wheels, Dyno tune next week. This is going to be the Machine on the tour. Hope to see everyone on this sight go. Look for the plate RARE C5, Ohio plate. Jeff

I plan on going on Power Tour this year because it's close to me, Camaro or not.

I am hooking up in Dayton and going on the leg to Somerset KY. Hopefully in the new Camaro - if not the 70 Chevelle SS will do.

The 2006 Hot Rod Power Tour is the reason why we are getting the new Camaro.
Well, the movie Transformers kinda kept the excitement going too...

Here is a pic of my son with Camaro Concept #1 at the start of the Power Tour in Orlando. Note the date.

I'm trying to get set up for the 2010 Power tour...

I'm not sure if I'll have everything done by then...

We'll see.

I plan on making the long haul in the GT500 this year. I'll probably have my 12-year old son with me, too.

I've done parts of it several times, including last year. I took my 70 year old father with me a couple years ago and he had a blast. We even ended up in Hot Rod with the Firebird.

If you like driving your car and spending time with other car people you must do it. Personally, the car shows are OK, but for me, I like the drive. There is nothing else like being on the road with a thousand other car people when you roll into a new town. If you see me say hi, I'll be in the 'Bird with the top down.

What do you think GTAHVIT? Will you be too busy with our 1st Annual Camaro5Fest to make it for the Hot Rod Power Tour?
