Will Vette knob fit stock Camaro???

Does anyone know if the stock knob for the C6 Corvette will work on the Camaro? I know they are both press fit and I love the size and feel of the C6 knob. Shift pattern is the same so as long as shaft size is the same? It should work right?

Here is the knob I would like to get for my SS w/IO interior.

Don't take my word for it but I believe it will. While searching for pictures of each shifter (to visually compare the OEM shifters), I found this link:
http://www.chevyhardcore.com/feature...hrow-shifters/

"For all of you fifth-gen Camaro and C5/C6 owners looking to swap out your shifters for something that aids in rowing the gears just a tad bit quicker,......"

However, it could just be describing the company who makes individual shifters for both model cars.
With a little more research (or comparison really) I'm sure you could confirm if this is possible or not.

Here's a good comparison of the shifters:

Factory C6:

Factory Camaro (hurst, but uses same knob):

Looks very similar to me. You should be fine. Hope all this helps!

Is that a stock vette knob? I've been wanting to do this for awhile just didn't want to buy the knob without knowing for sure.

Thanks Hightower and Helmincamaro!
I have an email into GS when I hear back from them I will update this thread.
I had the C6 knob for my Z06 and loved the way it felt.

If you want to look into the Pontiac G8 knob, that's what I've done. You can look for my thread on it, however, I should tell you it's not meant to fit and it doesn't push on all the way. But, I've had it for about 6 months and it's not loose or otherwise un-snug in any way.

I had someone PM me about this today wanting to possibly get one if GS Creations makes it.

Anybody else interested in this? Our am I in the minority? They are gonna look into getting one produced if there is enough interest.

Please state your thoughts.

Here is a pic.

There is more. This board is slooow to catch on at times, lol.
I'm sure they will make it. Corvette owners that know this knob will tell you the fit and feel are incredible! They really are nice.
Worst come to worst they already have them for after market shifters. I'll just have to get me an MGW. Hehe.
