Now a REAL driver would come out to TCN2012 on stock tires and show us how it's done.

That's what I'll be doing..
Exactly! I need the driver mod! I love the manual but I can't launch it to save my life!

Besides, the wifey booked us for a fundraiser for cy fair prom. Casino night so at least it will simulate fun.

You've got to be very abusive to the clutch to get a good start.
Start with the revs near the power peak at a stand still and then let the clutch out as fast as you can while adding more gas without letting the rpm's drop.
Some like to burn the tires but slipping the clutch to CONTROL the launch is way more controllable compared to just dropping the clutch at full throttle and hoping the tires will hook up eventually.

well mlee and GoPaul talked me into it.
Since the racing starts early and the fundraiser got cancelled.......... I think I may just show up and make a few passes. I won't stay for the whole thing, but I'll get a few practice runs in and have some awesome fun with great people.

anyone have some drag radials I can borrow? haha!
