...final answer is <Alex Trebek>. Nothing is certain or guaranteed with the order. Constraint means hold usually dictated by a shortage of one item or another, and limited numbers is self explanatory. Orders were always able to be placed into Workbench, but could not be filled until an allocation came up for the dealer one placed an order through. Limited number of orders is semantics. Arguably on par with allocation, or there is limited production numbers in mind.

Dealers still doing the over MSRP thing really? When are they going to learn. In this business imo its all about relationships and clearly this dealer does not get it. Also you might want to remind them they would not even have a business today if it wasn't for the American tax payers.

My local dealer has had a white ZL1 on the showroom floor for 4 months now. If they gave me a price break I would buy it, but they are still asking $3K over sticker.

Walk in with a check for MSRP. I truly doubt they will let the check walk out.

Lots of dealers I've dealt with are skilled liars. Go in and lie to them, tell them a dealer out of down has a ZL1 they offered you for X. Tell them you have a check for Y and if they'll do the price you'll sign today.

As OldJedi said, they won't let a sale walk out the door as long as both parties are getting a fair deal.

As the others have said, just walk in with a check and it's yours! I already had my loan thru my CU and was ready to purchase. Salesman tried to BS with me someone else is looking at the same car, just waiting to "sell his boat". I told them I'm ready, he's not sell me the car. I got it below MSRP due to making contact with the sales manager at the dealership who is childhood friends with my next door neighbor! The old saying is tue, Money talks,BS walks! Some dealers will lie to deceive you into purchasing the car.

According to Kelley Cheverolet of Fort Wayne, IN - they have FOUR ZL1's sitting on the lot. All are labeled as vert's but based on the prices listed, it's 2 verts and 2 coupes.
