My 17 year old son trades his 99 wrangler for my 12 camaro every chance he gets. His only regret is when I tell him I want my car back!

Nope, keeping the 2012 Sahara (daily driver) and getting a 2014 ZL1 this weekend

Interesting how many Camaro AND Wrangler owners there are. I still have my 05 Unlimited but I have to sell it. I will hate to see her go but I do love my 1LE!

I just sold my 2009 sunburst orange Sahara - 6 speed, nav, 2 dr, 33k miles... taking delivery of a 2011 Camaro SS tomorrow! DO IT!

To add to this... I don't have time for offroading. Central FL is as flat as a cracker. I had a Z28 in high school and I miss that more than anything.

It is curious how many people own both a Camaro and a Wrangler, or have owned both in recent history. I have as well. I never want to get rid of my Jeep. But I do want to add a Camaro

That's a nice FJ. I've always loved Toyota 4x4's but the Rubi is a pretty awesome machine removable top an 4:1 t/case gotta love it.

I had a 96 Grand Cherokee with a 3'' lift what a turd that was. I swore I would never like another Jeep. I guess never is a long time .

There is an Orange Rubi at the stealership close to where I live. I drool whenever I see it.

That's crazy! For less money, you could get a Raptor.

If you could afford it, why not have both? The guys who live with snow know what I'm talking about. I'm fortunate enough to have a Tacoma too. And having my camaro is like having the best of both worlds.

That looks like a nice build on the Raptor. They're not exactly cheap, either.

A stock Wrangler JK Unlimited Rubicon starts in the low 30's and it's more capable in technical 4WD situations than a Raptor (Wheelbase length, approach and departure angles, break-over angles, overall vehicle width, and a better crawl ratio with the Rubicon's 4:1 transfer case). If you're racing in the desert or want to go play in a mud hole or go wheel smooth rocks like parts of what Moab is, yeah I'd want to be in a Raptor too (if not just for the hoon factor of having a V8). But on a backwoods trail in forested or steep/rocky terrain I'd take a Rubicon.

The Rubicon in that link has been converted by AEV. Lots of high end stuff on there and good money in the bumpers and lift, tire carrier. But, the dealer is definitely charging a premium to sell it as a "out of the box" build..
