Email Ruben at SoCalporting@gmail.com. Tell him what you want. He got back with me the next day with the price. Then set up a date and ship it to him. He said with a preset appointment date they usually have a 24 hour turn around. Shoot them an e-mail. Good luck! Yes ,he quoted me a price of $300.00.

Just got the quote and he said

"Hello Bobby,

Thank you for your interest Price for a complete port job would be $250 and includes boring the manifold to fit the TB. If you want the TB ported, that would be an additional $80.

Thank you again"

That's not that bad since he ports the upper and lower. My question is isn't the Overkill TB or is it just bored to 80mm and can still be ported?

Nice I'm just gonna set it up with SoCal so they can port intake manifold and TB and since I'm getting the manifold ported will the intake spacer still fit right? Noob question I know.

The spacer will (should) need to be ported to match the manifold.
Unless it's already as big as the gasket.

Telll Ruben your running the mani spacer and he'll probibly say send it along with the TB, spacer, and mani. Tell Ruben your running this and it will be on the engine. Then everything will be ported to a match set. Email him .

Good advice!
It's always best to look at the intake system as a whole and match everything you can.

Currently searching for a reliable, good dyno in the SC/NC area.

I've been talking to him for the past two days.

First email,

Hello Bobby,

Thank you for your interest Price for a complete port job would be $250 and includes boring the manifold to fit the TB. If you want the TB ported, that would be an additional $80.

Thank you again.

Second email,

I would send it along to be sure everything so port matched for a smooth, unrestricted flow. *(He is referring to the spacer)*

Third and Final email,

Turnaround would be approximately 48hrs. All I need is a tracking number or a day when you want to drop it off.
Thank you

Another update, finally got around to install the SLP LM2 and its too loud for my liking and when its at any other throttle other than WOT it sounds pretty ricey. With that being said I'm just going to do a Pros and Cons to make more easy on the eyes.

Pros:
1. When WOT it sounds pretty good, more masculine than stock suitcases, just gives off a good muscle tone for a v6.
2. When first started whether it is a cold start or warm start it has a nice rumble and is actually almost deep enough for me to love it.
3. Certain points in the exhaust notes when you're not WOT will make you smile because you will hear that little bit of muscle you have hiding under the hood.
4. Turns heads with grins

Cons:
1. When you're not WOT or within those certain throttle points it sounds very ricey.
2. When cruising and casual driving it is very loud. *Can be fixed with Resonated X-Pipe*
3. When you get on it sometimes you get a nasty hit of rasp that isn't pleasant to the ears.
4. There is a good amount of cabin drone, but it varies with the amount of foot pressure on the pedal.

All in all, its a good exhaust system and has some really, really good notes that will be followed by some bad notes and rasp and drone. If someone asked me do I think they should get this. I would say yes, but get the resonated X-pipe on at the same time to kill of most of the drone and rasp.

*Video coming soon*

You should change the name under your avatar pic to the "Resonated X-haust Guy"! Lol

Question for you guys. Should I get this one http://images.magnaflow.com/02product/parts/11386.jpg

or this one
http://b.cdnbrm.com/images/products/...low_x_pipe.jpg

Or is there not really a difference? Reason I asked is that my girlfriend placed an order for the second one and I'm trying to figure out if thats the wrong one to cancel it and get the right one. Whats the verdict?

Thought that so thats why I ordered the first and am sending the second back. The rasp has to go.

Is this worth investing in? I'm trying to figure out how to launch better since I have the a6.
