I'm good with the E-Ray. It seems like a smart implementation to push the performance envelop. This isn't for fuel economy, although it won't hurt.
I'm also not entirely opposed to a full BEV Corvette along side the ICE offerings. We'll see what folks buy.

If GM would make a Camaro 2SS or ZL1 as a Gas hybrid I think lots would buy it instead of a all out EV ... I would sell my 2SS and get one ...... cars like these Hybrids at this price range is not a Car for everyone you have to have Disposable income ..... thats why most buy SUV's they are alot cheaper.... I DO LIKE THE NEW BLUE ON THE E-RAY CORVETTE ... SHOWS 3 NEW COLOURS AT END OF THE VIDEO

I'm all for it, honestly. The Z06 is pretty cool but, I don't think I'd buy one if given a choice between that and an equally priced E-Ray. But, that shouldn't come as any surprise to anyone who has seen me post on here. I'm all for AWD and hybridization over any RWD setup.
Also, I think this car is a hell of a bargain at it's price point. Which is all relative, of course. It's pretty inexpensive for what you get and should be a great seller. I don't think I'll buy one this year or even the year after. I'll wait until I see them get put through their paces by magazines, YouTube channels, races, etc., etc. So long as the platform proves to be solid, there will be one in my stable--although I think I'd have to get the 3LZ with the ZER performance package.

I really do like the E-Ray, but I'll never be able to afford it short of winning the lottery.

At least they didn't take the Ford route and turn it into a bloated hunk of plastic.

Yeah, even the C7s are still going for a lot of money.
