2 switchblades for $110, decent deal?

So I was getting my first oil change today for my new to me '14 and since my car only came with one key and a separate fob I decided to stop by the parts department and the parts guy quoted me $110 for 2 switchblades ($117.15 OTD) so I went ahead and got them. I hadn't priced them anywhere else so is that a decent deal or did I get ripped off? My car suddenly seems way cooler with the switchblades!

I also got charged $29.95 for the oil change ($36.16 OTD), and they replaced my front right turn signal for free and washed my car for free (by hand since I have a vert) so I was fairly pleased with the dealer overall.

Yep, $55 from your local parts dept. Cut it for you for nothing. At least that was my situation.

Cool - sounds like $55 apiece was a fair price then - I tend to always get ripped off on stuff like this

Not bad. I got a spare key only (FOB purchased separately) for my silverado at a big box store and they charged me that price and it didn't even have a remote control with it nor was it GM. Some offbrand thing with the transponder chip in the plastic top of the key. I had to program it myself too which amounts to using it like the Camaro programming. I felt more ripped off by that than what you got.

It's about what the retail price is but if you shop online you can get them for less that half that.

I ordered 2 genuine Chevy fobs off ebay for $25 and then took them to the dealer and had them cut for $10 a piece. So I got two new fobs for a total of $45.

Starling Chevy Cadillac in Deland - no I didn't buy the car there, but they were the closest dealer that could squeeze me in for an oil change on short notice.
