I say +1 to V6 gauges, +0.5 to V8 gauges, and 0 for metric V8 gauge. The numbers are too big and cluttered IMO.
What I like are the Dale Jr. gauges! It has big numbers like the regular V8 but are a bit thinner i think. |

The gages from "Black" are awsome... The JR ones are cool too, hopefully GM will come to their senses, and offer one of these instead !? If not, I guess this will be one of my first mods.

I'll be keeping as much of the interior/exterior of the car stock as possible. The engine will get a full intake and exhaust treatment, and possibly cams depending on where the intake and exhaust get me...
The point is the gauges will stay OEM, etc. - Xanthos

I say this huge gauge cluster conversation needs to be removed and given its own thread. A lot of good information here and good focus.

I think they should have used BLACK's gauges, too. Those are Amazing!!!
...and BLACK's bezels for that matter. They don't have to be black though...just shiny. The ones in there now are nice, but seem...unfinished. |

The US guages are by far the better looking. The Canadian one just looks too cluttered.
I don't like the ones in the Dale Jr. or Black at all though. I absolutely can't stand white face (or anything similar) guages. |

I think the US gauges look fine, but I would consider upgrading to the DEJ or Camaro Black's gauge faces if someone offers them.
