Well that sounds like a better than stock cam with more duration, you must mean the numbers are more like 230/230 duration with .590/.590 exhaust and intake lift and 115+2 LSA Lobe separation angle which in conjunction with the cam center line matter a lot and this cam sounds more than enough to be a street friendly not too radical cam that should net you those numbers or even a little higher on a dyno. That means you are a lot more duration and lift along with a tighter LSA than the stock cam, and the cam runs 2 degrees advanced to make it more street friendly to add to its LSA as the stock ls3 cam had lots of LSA... the stock cam was like .550 lift and have here from this article the specs of the cam from a 2010 ls3

Duration: 204°/211°
Lift: 0.551″/0.525″
LSA: 117°

I have heard of the ls3 with even more LSA as it was installed..with +

Maybe reading about these three cams could help you understand more. Good luck, that cam sounds middle of the road for performance but easy on the valve train.

Who specd the cam? The LSA seems a bit wide to me for a N/A application.

Depending on the full cam spec it could be a good cam for drivabilty and power. Just depends on the valve events. Feel free to contact us if you need help with your cam choices.

custom cam

My car is a DD too, a 2011 Holden SS-V Sportwagon 6.0 N/A.
I have 226/230 115+2 0.550" retained AFM and swapped in VVT. Also upped compression to 14:1 for ethanol incl. pistons, valves, basic race prep.
Stock stall, 2.92 gears, drives great with 480rwhp and 27.5 mpg hwy on e85, 1/4 12.4 @ 116 full two ton weight.
Sounds lumpy enough at 650rpm, massive torque for daily driving with cam parked, phase in 6° retard and revs past 6600.

My cam has 12 degrees of overlap and also a 112+2 and it's my daily driver. No issues. Bucks some of course but that's only really if I let it. It's pretty easy to work around it. I would recomend it to any daily driver honestly.
