Hey Clint! Congratulations on the new place! Wish you all the best and blessed prosperity for your business.

I do need a cage for my Chevelle. I need a full-on funny-car style cage that can be certified down to 7.49. However, the caveat is that she's a street-driven (for real) street car, so the cross bars at the doors need to be as low as possible so it's not too much of a chore to get in and outta the car all the time. I just finished up all the chassis work - I back-halved the frame, and will be running 33"T x 18"W Mickey Thompson street slicks on 16X16 Weld double beadlock rims. I need a shop that can build the cage and provide the cert for the chassis as well. Can your new co-workers do all that? Who should I call?

Sam

A.I.R. Recent completed Project. Another E-MAX Strike to HP Gains !!
L99 Gains Almost 1/3 RWHP from cam and simple bolt on's only.

2011' L99 Auto VERT Camaro
Gains 95 RWHP from Emax Cam and Bolt on's.
I love this Cam. Good sound and numbers and still pass that E-Test !

Stock and untouched the Car put down 324rwhp & 342rwtq

After Emax Cam, AIR Tune, Vararam CAI, TSP Headers w/CATS went to
419 RWHP 393RWTQ. Gain of 95 RWHP and 51 RWTQ. This is through the stock catback as well.

On one run the numbers showed 424 RWHP with smoothing at setting 5, which is a total gain of 100RWHP, but the dyno had a slight spike at the end of the run so I did not use that run, though a gain of 100rwhp is wonderful !.

Here is a pic of the Dyno Graphs. I have video of the car as well, which I will put together with pics of the process over the weekend.

Have a good night.

Clint

AIR Check in.

The last month has been hectic. Not sure if everyone has known be AIR has moved into a new, larger shop. The new location is off of I76 and Sheridan Ave.

We have gone from 2900sq ft to over a 14,000sq ft building that is shared by 4 different companies. A.I.R., DynoPro (DynoJet), DC Racing engines (builds NASCAR engines), Chassis Dynamics (Custom Roll cage and chassis fabrication). A.I.R. has doubled the space, included a customer waiting room with couch and TV, Xbox with go fast racing games included. Kitchen area, going to purchase a vending machine, and updated security system for the building :-)

Pics of the building:

The door being cut in for the Dyno:

It's a warehouse of GO FAST and Horse Power Goodies. ! But were still in the process of moving in.

A.I.R. is completely moved in to the new location, and as of this afternoon the lift is up and functional, things are organized and after the 3 week pause were working on getting caught up with projects. So. I apoligize to all if I've been hard to get a hold of these last few weeks.

DynoPro will be up and running next week, can't wait for that !!! Who need a Dyno??

DC and Chassis Dynamics will be running late in the month of June, (anyone need a roll cage installed?)

More info and Pics to follow.

We will be doing a Grand opening Day soon, with Dyno day, Burgers and Dogs provided :-)

Talk to you soon.

Clint

Yea saw those. Talked a little with the owner. A really nice lady. She owns a total of 5 camaros I think she said and 2 vettes. I didn't really like the HPE at all. But the ZL1 was sweet. I liked the "goofy Grandma!" LOL

Guess you meant HPE after looking at the photos. How was the Carbon Fiber kit? 2009 at SEMA the difference between Callaway and Hennessy on CF quality was light years apart..... but Callaway ground effects were priced out of this world. One speed bump, parking block, or curb could cost 10k in damage John Hennessy's response on forums was "real carbon fiber is wavey". Guess Callaway's 20k ground effects must be fake

I was at the dealership today when she picked up the car. She smoked the tires through the lot when she left. She was driving it like she stole it. Really great to see from a grandma.

Gonna have to agree with you ( I know, it's rare..lol ) on disliking the HPE. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of an LS9 shoe-horned in there, but the CF effects and spoiler look kinda ricey, and that lettering just looks 20 cents of cheap. I obviously didn't see it in person so I'm taking it at what I can make out in the pics, but for what I'm sure is an un-Godly price tag from Hennessey, you'd think they could have popped out a couple of real emblems. Yikes. That almost looks hand-painted.

Garth, did you say 10-20K for CF? WOW!!!

Any idea what the LS9 package costs?

Yea I meant HPE. the carbon fiber looked terrible honestly. looks like cheap carbon fiber, even if it wasnt, it didnt look good anyway. and like you said it was kinda wavy. honestly the whole car didnt look good at all. Stock hood too!!! really! plus the engine cover dais corvette on it HAHA. I know its an LS9 but you would think they would have made a custom engine cover.

10-20k on carbon fiber ground effects??? no thanks.
