That is actually pretty ingenious. I'll have to look into that. I wonder if it would be too low.

A guy who makes front plate mounts currently for Mustangs is working on adapting the design for the Camaro. He is putting together a prototype and as soon as I get it and get it on a Camaro I will take a bunch of pictures and provide some information. It will mount to the lower grill and will look something like this:

That's pretty cool.... It eliminates putting holes into the car but you still have the ugly look of the plate infront of the car..

Yeah I completely agree, but at least this option blends with the angles of the bumper and the grill.

That hideaway license plate holder is pretty slick! Well worth the money too.

Us Massholes have to be unique

(We don't get a choice...if you have an older plate with green script, you only need one...the newer plates (red script) require two.)

We have the law here in Ohio and I have only had one on my 69 cadillac because the plate is sweet " 69 cadi" and there is a indentation for one , but on my Licoln LS it needed a holder and I requested my dealer not install it. Until the states want to pay for a new bumper I will not put one on. I have never been questioned by "the man" so I say ask your dealer like I do and take the chance. You could probably get away with saying it is on order from the dealer.

A little off topic, Missouri members need to visit http://www.house.mo.gov/content.aspx...bills/HB58.htm . There is a bill being introduced to change the law from requiring two plates, to one. If you dread drilling in the front bumper of your new camaro, you might want to send an email to Theodore Hoskins (Theodore.Hoskins@house.mo.gov), who is introducing this bill. I e-mailed him yesterday to voice my support.
