Anyone know where in the engine bay to tap into the side marker lights

I posted another thread about where to hook up my grill lights so they come on when its dark only. The side marker lights was suggested . Great idea except I don't want to remove the bumper or tire to get to them. Anyone have a suggestion. I have searched you tube, the forum, sure I am not asking for it correctly. My hands are all scratched up from a dog attack so I am trying to minimize using my hands

thanks

You can also do the front marker/blinker next to the head lights and you can reach that with the hood open .Just make sure you get the marker wire not the blinker.

You can grab the side marker light by turning the wheel to one side and undoing the screws that hold the wheel well in place the wires will be right there for you
