Unlock trunk dead battery

Battery is dead. I put the key into the keyhole above the back seat, but it wont turn either way. What else do I need to do to get this trunk open?

Open the hood and put a charger or jumper cables on the attachment points.

Did you use the key extender? It gives added leverage.

You might also try some pressure on the seat back.

Just be careful when opening your door with no power. The window won't drop without it.

Yeah, it's just on the verts because there is no pass thru from rear seat to trunk due to sub woofer in order to yank the manual handle.

Hmm....ZL1 1LE's backseat is locked in place, too....but I don't think they put the key thing in there.

Interesting, sounds like another Ask Al topic. Just don't let your battery die before it gets answered
