What? My stock lights are H13, which have 2 intensities. The H9 has only 1 intensity.

After looking at them a few times I admit no matter how much I think they look cool they will still take away from the appearance of original retro styling I fell in love with in the first place. The original 2010 headlights still have a more menacing stare in my opinion.

I wasn't going to rain on the parade..but yeah I agree with you. The halo headlights and old school retro menacing car look is too perfect to start DIY mods on...

These are the headlights in my sig. They are the closest to stock as you can get without buying the factory lights.

From the pictures that look better than the original are you happy with them?. The light output? .. because I really don't think that the stalk RS HIDs are really that bright I wish I could be brighter.

They aren't super bright but that doesn't concern me too much I rarely turn them on. I usually just use them by themselves. I rigged my headlight switch to always be in the off position so I have no daytime running lights unless I want them. The car looks cool with just halos on!

I have the chrome version.

I also installed a nice h11 hid kit into them and tossed the halogens. Great down the road vision now.

I runno....ever since the 2014, “70+ grand” Z28 brought standard issue, nice n’ light lol, halogen headlamps back on the table again, I began to entertain the idea, that the “cool factor” on these relics, might slowly be coming back into the retro scene.

The Gen 5, fits in well with that retro crowd. Today, 2018, I feel even more comfortable, with leaving them on a Gen 5.

Might be waaaaaaaay off on this, but had to say it, in light of the above.

Don’t get me wrong, OP, I think these lights you found are cool, nice find, I’d swing them for the F of it, “just to see”, pardon the pun, they do have a certain appeal to them.

And what about with a Heritage grille??? Hmmmmmm

One thing is for sure, they are Begging for a HID conversion, so add that to the total cost

If I had known that going it, I would have looked at a different headlight.
Nah.

HID conversion for a brownie(maybe even less) into those puppies, and you are golden .
