3.6 sport exhaust

Is the twin outlet sport exhaust (bi-mode) basically the same as the SS exhaust with the exception of 2.5 primary pipe vs 3in?

I've put aftermarket exhaust on every car I've own for the past 30+ years and this is the first one I almost think I could leave alone. The mode choices are something i've never owned before but it seems like a very cool thing.

This was on a test drive and I haven't purchased yet but it feels like an option I want to look out for.

Do any of the aftermarket systems offer any real power advantage...without it being ear-splitting loud? This whole straight-pipe/popping, crackling trend is something I'll never understand. I liked glasspaks when I was young but never anything as loud as some of the stuff I hear at Cars & Coffee.

What year Camaro are you talking about? Non of the Camaro's have 3 inch exhaust that I know of, unless aftermarket. V6's are 2.25. SS is 2.5. ZL1's are 2.75... I believe.

I think the sixth gen V6 cars have dual mode but not the fifth gens.

Yes, the cars I've looked at with sport bi-modal exhaust are 6th gen (2016-up)
The difference in sizing was based off internet info (my bad)

Just wanting to confirm if anyone had the sport exhaust and if they swapped it out for something else...and if so, why?

Thanks guys!
