Tank Plates

Need a affordable set of tank plates. I've seen them as low as 100 bucks a set all they way to 500.
I've tried Bunker Racing out in Cali, but out of business now ( was told they made for a 70 a set)
J&R in AR. wants almost 500 a set not willing to pay that much.
If anyone knows who makes them or has a DYI template or drawings I'd be interested.

You get what you pay for, The J&R set are stout well engineered pieces. Good parts are never cheap and cheap parts are never good. You don't want to skimp on safety equipment, it's your safety after all.

Who named them tank plates?? I had to google the term.

Make your own! Or make good templates from stiff cardboard and or thin alumimum then have a fabricator make a set. You'll be hard pressed to spend $500 on something so simple.

Edit: I didn't see the vertical brace, still not a difficult task for anyone that can weld, just more labor.
