Nice mph at least. What was your 60ft time on that run? Are you tuned for the shot yet? It could have been bottle pressure holding you back some.

No, it's not been "fully" tuned yet. We made a last effort pass as they decided to close the track and hour and half then they advertised. We just pulled out 5 degrees of timing and went. I wanted the car to make 1 more motor pass to see if we could get it into the 11.70 range.

We only had 4 pounds of spray in the bottle on top of no preasure. 800 turns into 650 as soon as you hit the button with only that much juice to use.

1320: I unfortunately do not have a slip for the 11.37 pass. They had a melt down at the time slip booth and didnt get one.

LG has given me a Cam to put in the car but I really want to hit the 10 second mark with a bone stock long block. Maybe next time out I'll change it. I think I can run 11.20's with their cam N/A.

Nice job Orange!! I've been following your progress to see how much is left on the table from the factory. Curious about what you think it would be worth to swap to 18's for street/track dual duty?

Also, thanks for being clear on the mod's when you've posted new times. I'm surprised at the complaining. It's pretty much universally excepted on the net that there are a few categories for fastest 1/4 times: Stock, bolt ons, N/A, N2O, FI. It also seems to be settled that different tire/wheel combos are is still stock as long as people are clear about what they used (ie radial or slick) and minor weight reduction.

The only major question I'm curious to see what people think, is eliminating TM & raising the rev limit going to be still considered stock. My opinion would be yes as it's an artificial limit from the factory (like skip shift) that most older cars didn't have and hit's the L99's harder than the LS3's, but I could see the no argument since it's hard to tell if there's a tune.

I'm wondering when we're gonna see some tire guys w/TM gone cracking 11's on winter type DA's?

You getting an untouched motor (stock motor -hasn't been opened up yet) confused with a "stock" car.

To be a member of the "stock 1/4 mile list" your entire car would need to be 100% bone stock (the way the car came from the factory). The only exception would be to replace the stock tires (because they're worn down) with similar street radials (not drag radials or slicks).

Different wheels = not stock
drag radials = not stock
A tune = not stock
Any exhaust mods (mufflers, muffler delete, headers, catback, etc) = not stock
Intake = not stock
Weight reduction = not stock.
etc.

To answer your quiestions about the rev limiter the car runs faster at 6000 rpm shifts. I can shift it at 6500 but the et stays the same and the mph drops by 1-2. I went a 11.07 last night@128.90. The very next pass it went a 10.96@125. The preasure fell off on the bottle but we had to beg them for another pass. They didnt post the time on the board and I knew no one would believe me on the internet if I didnt have video proof. Preasure was at 825 on the last pass.
